class GuildMediaChannel

A media channel: a forum-style channel where every post leads with an image or video. It has the same posts and tags as a forum channel.

Methods

async GuildMediaChannel.createPost(options: ForumPostCreateOptions) → Promise<ThreadChannel>

Create a new post (a thread with its first message).

Parameters:

• options: The post creation options including name, message content, and optional tags.

Returns:

The created thread.

async GuildMediaChannel.edit(options: ForumChannelEditOptions) → Promise<GuildMediaChannel>

Edit media channel properties. availableTags replaces the whole tag list.

Parameters:

• options: The channel properties to update.

Returns:

The updated media channel.

async GuildMediaChannel.fetchActiveThreads() → Promise<ThreadChannel[]>

List this channel’s active posts.

async GuildMediaChannel.fetchArchivedThreads(options: ArchivedThreadsOptions) → Promise<ArchivedThreadPage>

List archived posts, newest first. See GuildTextChannel.fetchArchivedThreads() for paging.
