Requesting beta access

Weeble is currently available to approved beta projects.

You do not need to operate a large Discord server. Applications are reviewed based on the project, its use case, and whether Weeble can support it during the beta.

Note

An unfinished bot is not a problem. Early projects and prototypes are welcome when they have a concrete purpose and someone prepared to maintain them.

Before applying

You should have:

  • A Discord server where the bot will be developed or tested

  • A clear idea of what the bot should do

  • Someone able to write and maintain TypeScript

  • Time to report problems and adjust code when beta APIs change

Apply

  1. Join the Weeble support server.

  2. Open the beta application channel.

  3. Select Apply for beta.

  4. Answer the questions in the private application thread.

  5. Wait for a member of the Weeble team to review the application.

The thread asks for the guild name, guild ID, invite link, what the server is about, and what you would build with Weeble first. Give enough detail for the team to understand the project and the Discord features it depends on.

Important

Do not include Discord bot tokens, API keys, passwords, webhook URLs, or other credentials in your application.

After approval

When your application is approved:

  1. Sign in to the Weeble dashboard.

  2. Confirm that the approved server appears.

  3. Create or open its deployment.

  4. Continue to Getting started.

Approval applies to the reviewed project. Contact the Weeble team before using that access for an unrelated server or project.

Application review

Applications are reviewed manually. A request may be declined when the intended project is unclear, violates Discord policy, creates unacceptable security or abuse risk, or depends on capabilities Weeble does not currently support.
