Teams and access
Weeble access is scoped to a Discord server. A person can work on that server’s deployments only when they have an access role in Weeble.
Roles
Role |
Access |
|---|---|
Owner |
Full access, including managing other members |
Editor |
Read and edit projects, publish revisions, activate revisions, and change KV data |
Viewer |
Read projects, revisions, logs, and KV data without changing them |
The Discord server owner receives the Owner role automatically. Owners cannot remove themselves or replace their own role through the normal access controls.
Add someone
Only an Owner can manage access.
Open the server in the Weeble dashboard.
Open Access.
Enter the person’s Discord user ID.
Choose Editor or Viewer.
Save the member.
The person must sign in to Weeble with that Discord account. Grant the smallest role they need; use Viewer for someone who only needs to inspect a deployment.
Remove access
Open the same Access section and remove the member. Removal takes effect for future API and editor requests. It does not delete revisions that person previously published.
Discord server permissions and Weeble access roles are separate. Giving someone Administrator in Discord does not automatically make them a Weeble Editor, and giving them Editor in Weeble does not grant Discord permissions to their personal account.
